Before being famous for world-class amenities, Hôtel Français was a cafe in the early 1920s. It was only in 1958 that the MIchaely family converted it into what is being known today as Hôtel Français. In 1968, another family (Simoncini) managed the hotel. Before you dismiss the idea of staying in this hotel, make sure that you know the fact that paintings and sculptures from different eras are being preserved in its museum since the 1970s.
