Expat Savings in Bermuda

Expats can open accounts for savings in Bermuda in any of its four banks. Usually, salaries are credited to these bank, and the money may be converted to the foreigner’s home currency or sent to an account in his home country. However, transaction fees and 1% foreign currency taxes will be charged on either transaction.
