Pet Import Regulations in Cambodia

Relocating pets to Cambodia begins with preparing documents that will be necessary for the animals entry into the country. First, a pet owner must secure an original Rabies Certificate which should include the animal's microchip number, the date of vaccination and how long such vaccination will be valid.

A Veterinarian Health Certificate, issued by a government recognized practitioner in the pet's country of origin should also be prepared at least ten days prior to the pet's shipment.

Another important requirement for all animals being transported to Cambodia is identification that can only be accepted in microchip form. This chip should be compliant with ISO Standard 11784 or Annex A to ISO standard 11785; otherwise the pet must come with its own scanner.

It is important to note, however, that international pet relocation to Cambodia can change now and then as it does in every other country. Hence, hiring experts will prove to be help expats who want to have their pets join them without having to go through a very tedious process. With pet relocation service to Cambodia, pets can be transported with all the necessary documents in place to make way for a smooth process.

Pet relocation is difficult only for those who don't do it often. But for professional pet import service providers, it's all in a day's work.
