Q: Where are you originally from?
A: Canada.

Q: In which city are you currently residing?
A: Avellanas.

Q: What do you do in your new city?
A: Develop vacation rental properties and residential lots for housing. Contribute to local infrastructure and enjoy the many activities available like surf, paddle boarding, running the beach, biking, kayaking, tennis, golf etc.

Q: How is the quality of life in your new city in comparison to that of your home city?
A: AWESOME

Q: How would you rate the healthcare system in which you are currently enrolled?
A: AWESOME.

Q: How does the cost of living compare to that of your home city?
A: Less expensive.

Q: Did you use a relocation company to help you with your move?
A: No, we drove from Canada.

Q: How easy or difficult was the relocation process?
A: Easy, fun, exciting.

Q: Did you move here with any family members?
A: Yes.

Q: Did your spouse and children find it difficult to adapt to their new job and schools? 
A: My wife did more so but the kids loved it as soon as they started to meet new friends. THat was fast and easy for them.

Q: How did the family, including you, do in acclimating to the new culture and surroundings?
A: It was easy but some things took time naturally.

Q: What is your favourite mobile app which you use to aid you in your expat life?
A: Google Maps

Q: What is one piece of advice you’d like to offer a new expat in your new city?
A: Realize you are in a new environment. Realize there are different cultural things about your new home. Learn what they are, don’t expect to change them, adjust to them and enjoy.
