Education Services in Croatia

Education in Croatia is compulsory to all children between the age of six and fifteen years old. The medium of instruction in most schools is the Croatian language. Although there are not a lot of private schools in Croatia, there are some international schools in the capital city, Zagreb, for foreign nationals who would want to send their children to an international school. The school year starts in September and ends around middle of June.
