Current Account in Croatia

It is relatively easy for expats to open a current account in Croatia. Usually, Croatian banks only need an identification card plus an initial deposit. A proof of permanent residency might also be needed before a bank issues an ATM card. Some other Croatian banks always issue a bank card to account holders together with a 30 thousand Kuna overdraft limit.
