Pet Relocation in Czech Republic

Foreign nationals relocating in Czech Republic together with their pets must be aware that the most important document needed when importing an animal in the country is a Veterinary Certificate signed by a veterinary doctor from the expat’s country of origin. This certificate must then contain information such as country the animal is coming from, owner of the animal with name and contact details, description of the animal, identification of the animal (microchip number, location of microchip, date of microchipping), rabies vaccination administered no more than 30 days prior to arrival in Czech Republic, date of all vaccine and their expiration date, and evidence of tick and parasite hygiene.
