Expat Savings in Egypt

Opening a savings account in Egypt for expats is quite simple despite the economic instability that Egypt is going through. All they have to do is bring the necessary documents needed by their chosen bank. These includes passport, residence permit and work visa. Egypt currently has 41 banks, five of which are foreign banks. Banking hours are from 8:30AM to 2PM, Sunday to Thursday.
