Carolina Luchetta is a licensed Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, Teacher, and Translator. She is a specialist in counseling and couples therapy, having studied Couples and Family Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Instituto Sedes Sapientiae. Dr. Luchetta has also worked at Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP) as a psychologist, assisting patients who are fighting cancer, and their families deal with the diagnosis, treatment and surgery. Carolina has been working in her private practice in São Paulo as a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst since 2005 with an intense flow of patients undergoing psychotherapy. Most of her patients are adults, teenagers, and couples, with all kinds of needs and personalities. She also has English-speaking foreign patients consulting with her in their mother tongue. A few patients, whose mother tongue is not English, prefer having sessions in English because they feel more comfortable speaking English than Portuguese.
