Elisabeth Vermeiden is a tour guide in Amsterdam. Prior to moving to the Netherlands, she studied French and History in Paris—a country where she have called home for many years.  Elisabeth improved her language skills abroad while working and traveling in different countries, and through guiding tourist from countless countries in Amsterdam. She also worked as a teacher in schools and private companies for some years. After obtaining her qualifications as a guide, Elisabeth worked for many years for different tour operators, companies, universities, museums and press groups. In 1999, she began her own company, Elisabeth’s Tailor Made Tours, Events & Services.  Ever since, she has organized customized cultural tours in Amsterdam and the Netherlands. In her trips, she offers exclusive personalized tours focused on special interest, opportunities and themes chosen by her guests.  Additionally, Elisabeth specializes in tours exploring art, architecture, music, design, fashion, gardens, nature and culinary traditions. The carefully planned one or two-day tour can be customized and in combination with different themes according to the needs and desires of the guests. The tours are available in different languages and the means of transportation of my tours include by foot, bicycle, bus or old-timer car, or boat. Elisabeth’s tailor made services can also help select the perfect accommodation for her guests, including unique hotels and B & B’s.
