Question : How can I prepare for a career in your City?
Answer from Michelle Clarke, expert in Career Management
It is important to have your career documentation (Diploma, Degree) legalised by the Chilean consulate in your home country before arriving in Chile. Also, it would benefit you to search for career opportunities before arrival. An offer of employment from a Chilean employer will facilitate you securing a working visa here. If this is not possible, or you want to come and visit before you make the decision to shift your career, do bring a savings buffer so that your transition time spent in this diverse country is comfortable.
I highly recommend becoming moderately proficient in Spanish lessons before you arrive - preferably with a Chilean teacher.
