Question : What are the best ways to find a job as a foreigner in New York?

The best way to get employed as a foreigner is through networking groups.  The ""hidden"" job market is an important source of jobs.  Start by networking with those that share your interests.  What groups can you join and belong to?  Religious organizations, civic groups, meet-up groups, etc.
