The student must have a letter of acceptance from a educational institution that is registered with the department of Education and have a guardian or parent who can sign for their financial and emotional upkeep. The student must also provide medical aid cover and the additional document needed per the Immigration Act.
b. A study visa may not always be allowed to apply for within South Africa, the correct temporary visa must be in place first.
