This depends on the career you seek. Chilean employers admire qualifications and a minimum of a Bachelors degree is recommended even if you only wish to teach English. If you are a professional - a lawyer or dentist for example - you may need to add certain local studies to your existing qualifications. Diplomas are also well-received, depending on your choice of career. There is also presently a strong initiative by the Chilean government to train and support entrepreneurs so if you do not have a degree but do have a great idea and are passionate about developing it, help is on hand.
