Question in Tax Law

Question : Why am I getting taxed for my income earned abroad?

Answer from Christian Schmidt, expert in Tax law

The income earned abroad is not taxed in Germany (when having a Double Tax Treaty with the corresponding country). It is only considered as tax-free income in the German tax return and consequently has an influence on your tax rate.
