In 1986, she was appointed Company Secretary of Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, and in 1988 she joined its Board, being appointed Executive Chairman in January 2000. In November 1998, she was appointed Managing Director of Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Bhd. She is also a Director of Shangri-La Hotel Public Company Limited (listed in Bangkok). She has been appointed as the Chairman of Allgreen on 1 January 2015.
