Education Services in Iceland

Iceland has a high level of education. Literacy-rate is wide-reaching, and has been since the end of the eighteenth century. Education in Iceland has conventionally been planned within the public sector, and there are very few private institutions in the school system. Almost all private schools receive public funding.
