Education Services in Amsterdam

The educational system in Amsterdam is well-established and features a wide variety of primary and secondary schools. Children usually attend classes in primary school for eight years. There are around  31 secondary schools in the city for students to transfer to once they complete primary school. Schools in Amsterdam are diverse, with religious schools, international schools, and schools that feature the Montessori educational system being available in the city. Expats in Amsterdam usually prefer to send their children to international schools, which feature a country-specific curriculum and teach students in several languages.
