Q: Where are you originally from?
A: Egypt

Q: In which city are you currently residing?
A: Muscat – Qurum

Q: What do you do in your new city?
A: I am Product Training Manager in Suhail Bahwan Automotive Company

Q: How is the quality of life in your new city in comparison to that of your home city?
A: Much better regarding the political situation, more organized and religious tolerance

Q: How would you rate the healthcare system in which you are currently enrolled?
A: Somehow it is good but not the best



Q: How does the cost of living compare to that of your home city?
A: More expensive

Q: Did you use a relocation company to help you with your move?
A: No

Q: How easy or difficult was the relocation process?
A: If you don’t have a car or driving licence it is very difficult as the transportation network here is not good

Q: Did you move here with any family members?
A: Yes

Q: Did your spouse and children find it difficult to adapt to their new job and schools?
A: They did not join yet, but I feel it is easy

Q: How did the family, including you, do in acclimating to the new culture and surroundings? 
A: It is similar to our culture in Egypt

A: Muscat Geohertiage – IMuscat – Bank muscat – ROP – GlArab – Viber – Tango – Whats up – Xe currency

Q: What is one piece of advice you’d like to offer a new expat in your new city?
A: Oman is very wonderful country full of tourism places, good people, only the problem that most of society composition are divided between nationals and Indians which reduce the culture Pluralism.
