Business Health Insurance in Peru

Unlike in other countries, the healthcare system in Peru is not centralized and is controlled by five institutions – the Ministry of Health, which provides healthcare to 60% of the country’s population; EsSalud, which provides healthcare to 30% of the population; and the remaining 10% of the population is provided health services by the Armed Forces, National Police and the private sector. Expats who live and work in Peru are recommended to take out private international health insurance since the quality of healthcare in the country is not as advanced yet as with other countries in the world.

Cigna offers a wide selection of services and products for different business sizes and even includes employer-sponsored coverage.
