Education Services in Romania

Education in Romania for all of its citizens is free based on Article 32 of the Constitution of Romania. Schooling is mandatory for children ages six to seventeen. To enter the first grade, Romanian children are required to attend preparatory school year first. The education system in Romania is said to have experienced a huge crisis after the fall of communism in the country, and one of the reasons for such failure is that the education sector of Romania has not been financed properly.
