A: City : Semarang- Province : Central Java -Country : Indonesia
Q: In which city are you currently residing?
A: Jeddah –Saudi Arabia, for this last 8 months
Q: What do you do in your new city?
A: I’m working at Norconsult as CME consultant
Q: How is the quality of life in your new city in comparison to that of your home city?
A: Life quality is better, and it taking time for me as new comer in this city to adapt with the social life (food, entertainment, friendship, local language, )
Q: How would you rate the healthcare system in which you are currently enrolled?
A: I have covered with a medical insurance from my company and I found lot of qualified hospital in cooperation with.
Q: How does the cost of living compare to that of your home city?
A: Living cost almost same for total sum at the end, for ex, it cost different for food which is cheaper and housing which is more expensive.
Q: Did you use a relocation company to help you with your move?
A: They had arrange my ticket with a first 1 months housing facility
Q: How easy or difficult was the relocation process?
A: Its simply and easy, no such big issue here, at the first 1 month I have completed my iqama (resident permit) and drive license, once I got a car, at easiest way I can enjoy the whole city,
You will never found a good public (city) transportation here in jeddah, a personal car are requested to support your daily activity.

A: No I didn’t
Q: What is your favourite mobile app which you use to aid you in your expat life?
A: Google maps (GPS)
Q: What is one piece of advice you’d like to offer a new expat in your new city?
A: • Ensure that you are ready for the most hot summer, 3 days ago it almost 53 degrees celcius in Jeddah
• Ensure that your company preparing your transportation and accommodation during your stay period .
• Ensure you understand what your contract status, is a single or family status, since it will impact your family facility
