Education Services in Thailand

All citizens of Thailand whose age is between 6 and 15 years old are required to attend classes at a school in Thailand, according to Thai law. There is a free public educational system provided by the government of Thailand. There is also the option of nursery school or pre-school for children from 3 to 5 years of age. Primary school n Thailand is for pupils aged 6 to 12, while secondary schooling accommodates learners who are studying course subjects between the ages of 13 and 18. Only 3 years of secondary schooling are required, however.


The typical public school day in Thailand begins at 8:30 am with the singing of the Thai National Anthem. The end of the classes in the school day is usually scheduled for 3:30 pm. There is normally a month of vacation in the month of October, and two months of vacation for the months of March and April. Grades at schools in Thailand are usually issued to the students in the public schools on a point scale system of rating from 1 to 4, with 1 representing the worst possible score, and 4 being the best possible or perfect score.
