Taxes in Thailand

You will be required to register yourself for tax return purposes.

Property tax is levied at 12.5% in Thailand. However, for general property tax (these are the capital taxes on property), there are no taxes. Only real properties used for commercial purposes are imposed the Building and Land Tax. Value Added Tax / Goods and Services Tax is levied at 7% in Thailand.
