Moving Services in Vietnam

There are a number of legal procedures that are involved for foreigners who may be thinking about moving to Vietnam. Citizens of many nearby countries in Southeast Asia are allowed to visit Vietnam for up to 30 days with no need for a visa to be obtained from a Vietnamese consulate beforehand. Nationals of the Philippines are only allowed to visit for 21 days with no visa, however. And people who are from South Korea, Scandinavia, Japan and Russia only get 15 days in Vietnam without a visa. Nationals of the nation of Brunei get only 14 days without a visa in Vietnam. Most other nationalities do require a visitor visa in order to be allowed into Vietnam. Before are coming to work and live in Vietnam, expats will need to have a job offer from an employing company operating in Vietnam, as well as a legal work permit and a residence permit. They may also be required to provide several other forms of documentation which may include birth certificates, marriage certificates, criminal or police record, medical health certificates, proof of insurance, proof of sufficient funds, and the like.
